F-TOUCH 9100

F-TOUCH 9100 is a device that has to be plugged into the EOBD car socket to communicate with the onboard computer (ECU) that controls the steering wheel system of the vehicle.

When it is working together with the Techno Vector Wheel Aligner application, the F-TOUCH 9100 allows to reset the initial value of the steering wheel sensor after any wheel alignment adjustments.

For all vehicles equipped with ESP, resetting the zero value of the sensor is mandatory so that the onboard computer operates correctly.

Functions

STEERING WHEEL ANGLE CALIBRATION

Allows to reset zero value of the steering angle's sensor. Usually when one performs an alignment or any other action, that alters the streering wheel position or the straight-drive direction of the vehicle, the reset is compulsory.

BRAKE PADS REPLACEMENT

Allows to disable the electronic parking brake to be able to change the brake pads or to reset the service light on the dashboard when the brake pads wear exceeds the safety limit.

SETTING SUSPENSION INTO ADJUSTMENT MODE

Make certain vehicles switch to a special service/adjustment service mode and to provide full access to the suspension during the adjustment.

SUSPENSION CALIBRATION

Make certain vehicles recalibrate the suspension parameters after the adjustment. For example, this function allows to set the height of the suspension and to adjust it according to the customer's preferences.

TIRE SIZES PROGRAMMING

Adjust the conversion ratio of the odometer, speedometer or any other vehicle units when the car's wheel disc diameter is changed.
