Magnetic clamps

A unique accessory for Techno Vector 7 wheel aligners, the magnetic clamp to fasten targets to a vehicle, allows improving quality and enhancing operation speed for a wheel alignment bay.

Advantages of magnetic clamps

Less time for preparation. The clamp is magnetized to wheel fastening bolts; after that the target can be mounted.

Adaptability of the system. The diameter of the vehicle rim does not matter for this clamp. What is important is the number of points for its fastening. Resetting takes considerably less time. This clamp is mounted onto wheels with any number of fastening points and any type of fastening (bolts with rounded or flat heads, safety bolts, nuts, etc). Magnetic clamps for Techno Vector 7 PRO and Techno Vector 7 Premium are available as an additional accessory.

Safety. Thanks to magnetic fastening, there is no risk to damage rims; the clamp neither scratches, nor deforms them. It’s a common case when a technician trying to provide secure fastening of a regular clamp to the wheel, breaks claws of the clamp. This can cause an idle period for a wheel alignment bay. Sometimes a technician tries not to damage rims and fastens regular clamps not reliably enough. This can cause errors in measurements (if the clamp shifts during measurements) or falling of the clamp along with the target on the floor which can result in significant finance costs.

A wider application range. You can use magnetic clamps for the wheels in which the head section of the cord closes the edge of the rim, the wings hang over the wheels or partially close the rim, the rim is of irregular configuration or is in a bad condition.

Usage of magnetic clamps enhances efficiency of the wheel aligner, makes working with it easier and provides a high accuracy of measurements.
